Alberta TrailNet, a charitable organization, promotes the province's trails in the effort to connect Alberta communities together. The society provides support services to local trail groups by identifying how their trails fit into a regional and/or provincial plan, facilitating liability insurance and providing information regarding trail planning, construction and operation. Alberta TrailNet is also actively involved in the distribution of Alberta's Millennium Trail Grant.
