Alberta Bed and Breakfast Association [ABBA]
The ABBA is a non-profit society whose purpose is to further the Bed and Breakfast industry in Alberta by promoting high standards, co-operative marketing, government liaison, and other key issues.
Information for B&B owners, or people who are interested in starting a bed and breakfast operation. Also included are inspection standards and establishment standards, as well as tips on starting a B&B operation.

Bed and Breakfast Health Standards and Guidelines
The Bed and Breakfast Health Standards and Guidelines have been developed to establish minimum health requirements for the operations of Bed and Breakfasts in Alberta.
These standards have been in consultation with the Alberta Bed and Breakfast Association, Alberta Tourism, Parks, Recreation & Culture, the Alberta Hotel Association and the Regional Health Authorities to provide operators with a basic understanding of health concerns in their operations. The standards and guidelines focus on general sanitation and food handling practices in the home.

Insight into the needs and expectations of visitors who seek bed and breakfast accommodations. Assists prospective hosts with the planning, development and operation of a bed and breakfast business. It may also provide existing operators with ideas to improve aspects of their operation.
