Alberta Tourism, Parks, Recreation & Culture's Tourism Information System [TIS] contains detailed information about Alberta and is intended for use by Alberta's Tourism Industry.
The TIS lists Alberta's attractions, events, adventures and travel contacts. Information from the TIS database is accessible by searching on TravelAlberta.com and is made available to other tourism websites. This database is the primary provincial reference source used by tourism call centers, visitor information centre staff and by Alberta's tourism industry. Information from the database is also made available to all major provincial tourism publications and is provided to and used by a wide variety of media.
